We are looking for a highly capable Field Technician to work alongside our current team in servicing our customers’ onsite service and support needs.
We offer a flexible working environment for those who choose to work from home, however this role does require regular time spent in our local office and at client sites in order to complete hands-on work.
This is an exciting full-time position.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates an exceptional ability to:
- Communicate with clients via phone, service tools, and face to face to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Exercise good judgement in knowing when to escalate complex issues or ask for help.
- Proactively build and maintain an open relationship with clients to ensure they are well informed.
- Enthusiastically adopt and develop our procedures and policies.
- Learn and adapt, our business is growing – we really need you to as well.
Responsibilities include:
Attending client sites to troubleshoot and resolve suspected hardware related issues
- Completing machine and user setups both remotely and onsite following our customised checklist procedures
- Installing and providing Demonstration of our newest Robots at client sites, including workstation and basic networking equipment
- Providing first response onsite assistance for urgent issues, working with the team for further assistance where required
- Providing remote troubleshooting and support alongside our remote service desk team when required
Additionally, candidates for the Field Technician position will ideally have:
- A certificate, diploma or degree in IT support or other computing-related subjects such as information systems.
*- a strong interest in computers and familiarity with their technical aspects - hands-on training through an internship.*
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar customer facing technical role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A solid understanding of Windows technology, and IT hardware
- Enthusiastic. Willing to go beyond the call of duty when needed (whether for an outage or urgent issue).
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365
- Previous help/service desk experience would be ideal.
- A positive attitude and be a problem solver.
- Full clean driver’s license.

You will be paid between $28 – $34 per hour plus benefits and your working hours would be 32-40 Hours per week.
